The British Airways London Eye also called the Millennium Wheel was thrown open to general public in the year 2000. The wheel was the world�s largest structure of its kind till 2006. The London Eye is 443 feet tall and is located, on the south bank of river Thames.

The wheel rotates at 0.9 km/hour and one revolution takes about 30 minutes. The rotation speed is so slow that people can board the wheel without having to stop the wheel. The wheel provides a scenic view of London.
