The British Airways London Eye also called the Millennium Wheel was thrown open to general public in the year 2000. The wheel was the world’s largest structure of its kind till 2006. The London Eye is 443 feet tall and is located, on the south bank of river Thames.

The wheel rotates at 0.9 km/hour and one revolution takes about 30 minutes. The rotation speed is so slow that people can board the wheel without having to stop the wheel. The wheel provides a scenic view of London.
